Since early childhood, Dr. Sanele Madela has known he wanted to make a difference by becoming a physician. He believes everyone deserves access to good healthcare, including the resources and people to care for them. Thanks to his selection and participation in a storytelling training sponsored by the Medtronic Foundation, Dr. Madela learned to share his message through stories that connect with his audience.
The training empowered him to share his vision and mission with his team and beyond. He has brought his storytelling training and shared his message at the World Health Assembly and U.S. Congress, always with the ultimate goal of motivating and encouraging continued support and mobilization to serve the underserved.
